- The property is approximately a 7 hour drive from Calais and the Channel Tunnel using Le Shuttle.
- You are required to carry a number of items in your car to comply with French law including, but not limited to: UK car sticker, high vis jackets for all family members, a warning triangle and a spare bulb kit. Please check regulations carefully prior to your departure.
- If you wish to make passing through the tolls easier you can apply for an Emovis tag.
- There are numerous options with the ferry companies including https://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk who operate a service Portsmouth - Caen. Taking an overnight crossing with a cabin enables you to arrive in France at breakfast time and refreshed ready for your journey south. The property is approximately 5hrs 30 minutes from Caen.
